FREE WEBINAR: Writing and publishing an e-Book - May 22, 23, 24, 28

FREE WEBINAR - DO NOT MISS THIS! The single most powerful way to market your business is...
A book. Not just any book, but a book that YOU have written. And not just any book - a best seller! At first, you may scoff at the idea. But I'm here to tell you that not only is it possible, it is highly likely if you attend this free webinar. And not in dog years either. You can absolutely and actually write a best seller in your field of experience in as little as one weekend, no kidding. Of course, most people won't. They'll find all kinds of excuses why not. But let me ask you three simple questions and you can decide for yourself.

1. Are you good at what you do? Do you have a valuable expertise that others can benefit from?
2. Are you willing to share that knowledge by following a very simple, proven publishing template?
3. Here's the real hard question: do you honestly WANT to be successful, to be a leader and have people look up to your success in your market??

If you said yes to just two out of three, you're gold! You have what it takes, seriously. There are no hidden tricks, no over-priced "consulting" fees or expensive self-publishing costs. You can create and publish your very own book, in ANY field of expertise, in a matter of just a few days and get it distributed on two of the most powerful publishing platforms in the world today: Amazon and iTunes. There are literally hundreds of millions of users downloading self-published eBooks every day, and people have made millions of dollars selling their expertise and promoting their own businesses. YOU can be one of these legitimate success stories, not those over-hyped and undervalued "info products". You know your expertise is worth its weight in gold... so now is the right time to show the world your stuff!

It's my friend Alicia Dunams's amazing method to help anyone (even me) have a completed book at the end of one weekend. You start the end with a book. She's got the whole process down to a science. If you would like to know just how it's possible to write a book in a weekend, then I've got something cool for you. Alicia is doing a webinar on exactly how to do it.

In this 60 minute presentation, you will discover:
* 5 proven and easy steps to write not just any book, but a bestselling book, in one weekend.
* What's keeping you from writing a book and how you can instantly overcome it. (Alicia really knows how to inspire action.)
* How to select a title that sells.
* How to catapult yourself to the top ranks of the world's biggest bookseller --
...and, much, MUCH more!

The webinar is FREE. Just click on this link to register at a time that is convenient for you:

I'll be attending too. I have an idea for my book and it is... well, if I told you, I'd have to kill you, as the spies say. But trust me, it's a best seller concept!

Here's to YOUR success, and see you on the webinar.

Amador Council of Tourism Update

Hello, everyone-
I hope this note finds you well, and enjoying more visitors to your business, during our beautiful spring weather.

Much is happening with ACT. And I hope you are excited about the following:

First, Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort has named ACT the beneficiary of "A Divine Affair," Saturday, June 1st, 1 pm to 4 pm. Thank you to the wineries that have agreed to pour at this event. If you are interested in participating as a business, please contact Bailey Freund ( or Emily Tirapelle ( Tickets are $20 in advance online or $25 at the door. Please thank Jackson Rancheria for their generosity, when you see them.

We also are listing that weekend as an Amador event: Plan B: Barbera. Barbera Festival, scheduled for June 8th, sold out quickly (congrats to the organizers again). And because there is pent-up demand, ACT is encouraging folks to come up the weekend before: June 1st and 2nd. If you wish to plan a small event or offer a discount to anyone who mentions "Plan B: Barbera," please forward your ideas to us. We will list them on the website and in our upcoming e-newsletter to promote "A Divine Affair" as the highlight to the weekend. We have Italian Picnic and Parade that weekend as well. Please show your support for ACT by putting together a room/meal package that includes "A Divine Affair." We will all benefit. Thank you in advance for your support.

In ACT's 10th Anniversary year, we are assembling our fifth edition of our travel planner. It will release at State Fair and be in circulation for 18 months. Very few ad spots are left. If you want to participate and have not communicated with us, call the office this week at 267-9249.

State Fair volunteer shifts are available as well. State Fair runs July 12th through July 28th. We provide each shift with 2 fair passes and one parking pass, in thanks for your help at the Amador County exhibit booth. Please call if you are willing to share your time and enthusiasm for Amador County.

Last, our next evening meeting is Thursday, June 13th, 5:30 pm, at Renwood Winery. ACT will be rolling out its brand new website design. Thank you, Renwood, for agreeing to host the meeting. Please save the date for this exciting update. I know you will want to be the first on your block to know how your business will benefit from the new web design.

I thank you for your continued support. Please do not hesitate to call or email the office with questions or suggestions. We love to hear from you.

Thanks again for your support,

Maureen Funk

Sutter Creek hosts the 11th Annual Trash to Treasures Street Fair
Saturday May 25, 2013 8am to close
Eureka Street and Main Street Parking lot of Sutter Creek.

What they say is true…one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Sutter Creek’s largest street fair, the 11th Annual Trash to Treasures event will definitely prove that saying right. On Saturday May 25th from 8am on, vendors from all over will be selling everything from new to old, with a host of antiques, collectibles and wonderful junk!

Live music will fill the air as you meander through the booths. There will be so much to see and buy, it can fill your whole day, but don’t forget to wander down historic Main Street and visit all the wonderful and unique shops there also. Many stores will have marked down merchandise outside for you to find even more bargains. Top your day off with wine tasting at the family owned tasting rooms on Main Street, and then dinner at one of our fine restaurants.

With beautiful Sutter Creek as the magical backdrop, your day of treasure hunting will be a day to remember!
