Amador Council of Tourism - Thurs Apr 11

Hello everyone-
Spring has sprung and our weekends are filled with multiple events once again.
I hope your business is benefiting from our high level of visitation.

ACT meets next Thursday, April 11th, 9 am, at Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort's Hotel. Attached [below] are notes from the visioning workshop we did in February and April's agenda.

Other updates:
1. Sunset Magazine, April issue, has a wonderful article highlighting many of our local businesses and destinations. Thanks to the partnership with Gold Country Visitors Association, Amador was able to get wonderful exposure.
2. ACT's 5th edition of its travel planner is in the works. Look for the information in a separate email. Please call the office if you have any questions or wish to reserve your ad space.
3. State Fair Counties exhibit design is under way. Please begin making plans to have your business represented in the booth. 500 to 1,000 pieces will be needed.
4. Do you want to know more? Please come to our meetings; they are quite valuable. If you just cannot make the meeting in the morning, try one of our evening meetings once a quarter. Our last evening meeting included a brief presentation from my El Dorado partner, Jody Franklin.
5. Please remember to thank ACT's wonderful volunteers when you see or talk to them. They hold me together and keep ACT moving down the road.
6. Thanks to all who participated in 49er Treasure Trail, Amador's Adventure Game. Congratulations to Shop Gifted for winning two years in a row.

Questions? Suggestions? Please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you for your support<
