JB's Awards & Engraving: What are your upcoming projects?

This month many manufacturers will be releasing their new 2013 product lines, and I will have an opportunity to see some of them firsthand as I meet with manufacturers face to face in the coming weeks.
This is the ideal time for me to find product ideas and the best possible pricing for your 2013 projects. Please let me know if you have any upcoming events, campaigns, themes or initiatives (e.g. wellness, Earth Day, outdoor events, awareness, etc.) that I should keep in mind as I browse the new products so I can bring back some creative ideas that are perfect for your specific needs.
I look forward to hearing from you. Happy new year!

Amador Council of Tourism - Thurs Jan 10

Happy New Year, everyone!
I hope this note finds you in good health and looking forward to a successful year.

Amador Council of Tourism's first meeting of the year is next Thursday, January 10th, 9 am, at Jackson Rancheria Casino & Resort's hotel in Ballroom C. I am behind getting the agenda out. Please look for that early next week.

In December, the Board of Supervisors voted to invest the 4% hotel/motel tax with Amador Council of Tourism for the next 18 months. We brought an outline of a larger marketing campaign that will extend beyond the region and will provide reasonable frequency. The supervisors have repeatedly shown their support for tourism in our local economy. Please be sure to thank your county supervisor when you see him. And thank you for your letters of support.

I want to congratulate you for staying in business during these difficult times. You are truly among the best, because you still have the privilege of opening the doors to your business each day. I hear from visitors all the time about the wonderful hospitality you provide, and I am proud to represent you at the visitors center, at travel shows, and at regional events.

2013 will bring a new travel planner, a redesigned website, and a branded marketing campaign. Details to follow. Please do not hesitate to pick up the phone or email us with questions, suggestions, or just to chat. My wonderful volunteers can answer many of your questions and love to do so.

I wish you a Happy and prosperous New Year.
Thank you for your support,
