JBCA Update

We'd like to share a few updates with you...

November Meeting
JBCA's November Meeting is Monday, November 5th at 5:30pm in the JBCA office (148 Main Street)

Scarecrows on Main Street
The scarecrows are up on Main Street and they are looking good! Have you seen them yet?

Christmas Delights
We want to invite ALL JBCA members to participate and/or offer ideas for Christmas Delights. If you are an off-Main-Street-Business but still would like to participate (...with a kids activity, entertainment, a giveaway, etc.) then please let us know! No Heritage Day
We want to confirm that Amador Heritage Days is NO LONGER an event. It will not be happening this year despite what you have seen in print.

Customer Service Seminar
Registration is now available for a Customer Service Seminar, Tuesday, November 6th, 10 am to noon, Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort, Fire Room inside the hotel.
Let's all sharpen our customer skills for the holidays, so that sales exceed our expectations. I encourage you to bring employees and open a little later that day.
Cost: $10 per registrant.
Please preregister on-line; a minimum of 25 is needed to make this go.

Amador Council of Tourism will sponsor partial scholarships, with written request to this office. Send written requests to: info@touramador.com.
Boxed lunch is available to go, or to eat there and continue networking.
On the Go Boxed Lunch
Box lunches are $14.50 each. Box lunches will include necessary condiments and utensils. Served with Seasonal Marinated Salad, Kettle Chips, Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie, Whole Fruit & Bottled Water. Choose one sandwich type from the following:
-Turkey, Bacon, & Monterey Jack on Whole Wheat
-Classic Tuna Salad On Honey White

Measure Q Final Push
We are in the final days leading up to the election and, we hope, a successful completion of our Measure Q campaign. Thanks to all of you, we have signs placed throughout the county, fliers distributed in the densely-populated neighborhoods of Amador County, and a postcard arriving in mailboxes next week and the week after.
Wednesday, October 24th, and Wednesday, October 31st, in the Meadow Room in Sutter Amador Hospital. Meadow Room is Located in the Outpatient Services Building, which is on your left as you enter the main hospital driveway.
The last date, Thursday Nov. 1st, we will be in the Oakview Conference Room, which is in the main hospital building on the second floor.  Enter the main building, take the elevator up to second floor, go straight and then make a right. Oakview Room is near the end of the building on your left.
